James&Co was founded in 2012 and bears the name of the founder's son.

James Lucas was 24 years old when he died in 2011 by suicide. He was a beautiful young man who struggled with depression in his too-brief life. In his talented writing, James exhorted us to 'Live Life & Love It' and he inspires us now to uphold that legacy.

One of the purposes of James&Co is to contribute to organisations that work to raise awareness of mental health issues and lower the high rates of suicide by vulnerable people. Currently we donate 1% of purchase price to Suicide Prevention Australia.
