1 July marks the start of Plastic Free July campaigns for us all to get involved in.
Plastic Free July® is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution – so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities.
There are lots of initiatives and campaigns including:
- take the pledge to refuse single-use cups
- host a plastic-free morning tea
- get up-to-date on the UN Environment Assembly to get a Global Plastics Treaty signed by 193 Nations and implemented
- substitute reusable shopping bags for plastic shopping bags
